With extensive experience and a strong track record in connecting business leaders, Gatis provides the strategic direction for RBC. His leadership ensures that the Chamber delivers real value to its members — from advocacy and export support to market access and executive networking. By focusing on long-term impact, he positions RBC as a trusted platform where entrepreneurs shape both their companies' growth and Latvia's economic future.

Key milestones in our history
Riga Business Chamber was officially registered on September 21. The first meeting gathered 24 entrepreneurs around one table.
Within a year, membership reached 85. Regular meetings shaped RBK's working rhythm and strengthened the sense of belonging.
RBK became a place where members built long-term business relationships.
A retail chain found an architecture firm that still designs all its projects to this day.
Lean implementation experts from Lithuania gained 12 long-term clients in Latvia.
A construction company secured new projects.
A household chemicals distributor found new clients.
A peat producer acquired new land plots under highly favorable conditions.
A solar park supplier installed 10 new solar parks for another member.
In parallel with these successes, the Ventspils Business Chamber also began its work.
Despite global challenges, RBK members continued to meet and collaborate. New projects were launched, and cooperation with manufacturing companies expanded. Meetings took place in very small groups appropriate to the times, further strengthening both business and personal relationships.
The Riga Business Fund was established with the goal of supporting startups and serving as a bridge to investors.
Members participated in experience exchange and business networking trips across Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania.
A collective decision was made to also admit companies competing with existing members, increasing RBK’s influence in policymaking and representing stronger business voices within each industry.
From 24 founders in the beginning to over 230 members in eight years. RBK has grown into a strategic platform uniting market leaders at the top management level.
